Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing or launching software products.
• Experience operating as a technical authority on systems and leading projects.
• Experience driving technical and process improvements across engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the long-term engineering strategy, incorporating organizational business priorities and technological shifts.
• Own key technical decisions, guiding the team through design tradeoffs, safety considerations, and risk management.
• Identify system hotspots to improve technical health and remove widely‑felt barriers to productivity.
• Work cross‑functionally to ensure features are built consistently across different platforms.
• Coach the next generation of technical leaders through direct mentorship and scalable initiatives.
