Job summary

Ascentt seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive the development and client enablement of an enterprise platform for complex planning and delivery processes in the automotive and manufacturing sector. You will partner with product leadership, clients, and engineering to translate needs into actionable requirements.

You will lead workshops, craft user stories with acceptance criteria, ensure traceability, and support UAT, QA, and pilot deployments to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Business Analysis or similar roles for enterprise technology products.
• Strong ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Proven experience leading client workshops and elicitation sessions.
• Experience creating user stories and testable acceptance criteria; Jira proficiency.
• Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead client sessions, workshops, walkthroughs, and capability reviews to uncover real needs.
• Translate directions and needs into functional requirements, journeys, flows, and stories.
• Maintain traceability from business needs to requirements, tests, and feedback.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to refine backlog and ensure intent is preserved.
• Define QA scenarios and validate test coverage; participate in UAT and user validation.
• Capture feedback, triage defects and enhancements, and drive resolution with owners.
• Provide readiness recommendations to product leadership for features and pilots.
