Job summary

Covista in Chicago is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Performance Acceleration team to develop reports and dashboards for executive leaders across Covista's institutions.

You will collaborate with the technology group to enhance BI tooling, surface insights from operations, and deliver analytics on strategic projects while guiding a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred in statistics, data science, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of analytics and report development experience supporting enterprise operations.
• Experience in higher education or similar multi-line service org with marketing and student/customer service knowledge.
• Proficiency with Power BI; reporting with SQL, Excel; strong visual presentation in PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal communication; ability to engage with all levels; fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with ownership and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement reports/dashboards for executive leaders across institutions.
• Lead day-to-day development and delivery of reports and feedback on features to be enhanced.
• Provide analytics and reporting on operational projects for segments.
• Collaborate with leaders and tech teams; improve visualization and reporting products.
• Conduct statistical analysis and track observational trends to identify efficiencies.
• Present findings to institutional leadership.
