Job summary

DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Business Analyst for a long-term contract in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on eDMS business analysis, requirements development, and agile delivery in a hybrid environment with 2-3 onsite days weekly.

You will collaborate with business partners, project leadership, and technical teams to model processes, create user stories, and support testing and go-live activities using Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Qualifications

3+ years in business systems analysis and requirements development.
Experience documenting current/future state processes and business rules.
Proven ability to lead stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops.
Experience managing user stories, epics, features, and product backlogs in Jira/Confluence.
Familiarity with SDLC, change management, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders, project leadership, and technical teams to elicit and document requirements for the enterprise eDMS solution.
Facilitate interviews, workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
Create and maintain epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Jira/Confluence.
Analyze current-state and future-state processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify improvements.
Develop and maintain project artifacts including BRDs, use cases, process maps, and diagrams.
Produce visual documentation (flow diagrams, ER diagrams, context diagrams) using Visio and Orbus Infinity.
Support classification, retention, security, access control, and compliance requirements.
Assist procurement by drafting requirements, evaluation criteria, and vendor questions.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment with documented business requirements and objectives.
Support test planning and execution (SIT/UAT) and defect management.
Maintain project documentation, notes, logs, and knowledge articles in Confluence.
Support implementation planning, training, deployment, and go-live activities.
Monitor deliverables, risks, issues, and approvals per the project plan.
Participate in governance meetings and stakeholder briefings as required.
