Job summary

West Code is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work on technology transformation programs for banking, financial services, and fintech clients. You will bridge business and technology, turning complex processes into clear, delivery-ready requirements for engineering teams.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating user stories with acceptance criteria, mapping processes, and coordinating with Product Owners, analytics, and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Commercial experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong requirements analysis and process-modelling skills.
• Experience working closely with IT / engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and functional requirements.
• Translate needs into delivery-ready requirements for engineers.
• Map processes, identify gaps, assess impact.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineering, and stakeholders.
• Create user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze dependencies across systems and teams.
• Support solution design and implementation decisions.
• Clarify requirements and support UAT.
• Maintain alignment between decisions, docs and implementation.
