West Code is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work on technology transformation programs for banking, financial services, and fintech clients. You will bridge business and technology, turning complex processes into clear, delivery-ready requirements for engineering teams.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating user stories with acceptance criteria, mapping processes, and coordinating with Product Owners, analytics, and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Commercial experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong requirements analysis and process-modelling skills.
• Experience working closely with IT / engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders.

Senior Business Analyst Banking, Financial Services & Technology Transformation

The Mission: West Code is hiring experienced Business Analysts for technology projects with banks, investment firms and other financial-services organisations. We are looking for people who can work confidently between business and technology and turn complex financial processes into requirements that engineering teams can actually deliver. Depending on the project, you may support banking transformation, investment-banking platforms, risk, regulatory change, onboarding, lending, cards, process automation, data initiatives or other business-critical technology programmes.

What You’ll Work On

• Gathering and analysing business and functional requirements
• Translating business needs into clear delivery-ready requirements
• Process mapping, gap analysis and impact assessment
• Working with Product Owners, engineering teams, architects and business stakeholders
• Creating user stories, acceptance criteria and structured documentation
• Analyzing dependencies across systems, processes and teams
• Supporting solution design and implementation decisions
• Clarifying requirements throughout delivery and supporting UAT / acceptance where required
• Helping maintain alignment between business decisions, documentation and implementation

Must Have

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
