Job summary

Guidehouse in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead acquisition integration and modernization, overseeing enterprise process models and related digital knowledge tools to ensure compliance with current laws and guidance.

You will direct training for the process model, manage AI prompt libraries and AI-enabled workflows, and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration to adopt updated tools across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of senior-level experience directing complex process models in defense acquisition.
• Active SECRET clearance required.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
• Experience operating, maintaining and updating process models reflecting acquisition laws and policies.
• Experience coordinating stakeholder groups and cross-organizational alignment.

What You Will Do:

The Business Analyst leads acquisition integration and modernization tasks, with primary responsibility for operating, maintaining, and updating enterprise acquisition process models and associated digital knowledge tools. This senior role directs the operation and training for a comprehensive acquisition process model, supervises lifecycle management of an AI prompt library and AI-enabled acquisition tools, and coordinates technical collaboration across organizations. The Senior Business Analyst ensures that process models, documentation, and AI-enabled workflows reflect current laws, regulations, policies, and guidance and are effectively adopted by the workforce.

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED “SECRET” Federal or DoD securityclearance
• Bachelors degree
• Minimum of TEN (10) years of senior-level experience directing complex process models and knowledge management tools in a defense acquisition context.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent business analysis certification.
• Demonstrated experience operating, maintaining, and updating complex process models that must reflect current acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and guidance.
• Experience maintaining Government-owned or enterprise tools by incorporating approved updates, adding and removing content, and verifying documentation accuracy within specified timelines.
• Experience coordinating and facilitating stakeholder working groups, documenting approved actions, and managing cross-organizational alignment for process updates.
• Experience designing and delivering virtual training for large user communities, including both introductory and update-focused training sessions.
• Experience engineering, validating, and managing the lifecycle of AI prompts and AI-enabled workflows, ensuring alignment with acquisition guidance, process model content, user roles, and mission activities such as documentation, requirements reviews, and process execution.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier 3/NACLC background investigation.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Deep familiarity with enterprise acquisition process models and digital knowledge repositories used in major defense or federal organizations.
• Experience integrating AI-enabled acquisition tools and managing prompt libraries or similar AI governance artifacts in large, complex organizations.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of reconciling competing requirements into coherent process updates and guidance.
• Experience planning and executing change management and training strategies for new or modernized acquisition tools and processes across geographically dispersed workforces.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field
