Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in strategic planning, milestone tracking, and acquisition documentation within defense or federal frameworks.
• CBAP certification or equivalent business analysis credential.
• Experience organizing mission execution documentation such as strategic plans and performance briefs.
• Experience collecting and aligning mission statements, goals, objectives, and performance measures.
• Experience supporting acquisition program activities including documentation, requirements and risk reviews, and analyses.
• Experience updating technical documentation and communication products to defined timelines.

What You Will Do

The Business Analyst oversees strategic and acquisition support activities, providing technical and administrative support to execute Government-directed acquisition tasks. This role supports mission execution documentation, acquisition program support, and acquisition communications. The Business Analyst coordinates mission execution tracking, compiles acquisition program metrics, and ensures timely delivery of high-quality acquisition documentation and communication products.

What You Will Need

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED 'SECRET' Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelors degree
• Minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience in strategic planning, program milestone tracking, and acquisition documentation within defense or federal frameworks.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent business analysis certification.
• Demonstrated experience preparing, updating, maintaining, and organizing mission execution documentation such as strategic plans and performance briefs.
• Experience collecting, organizing, and maintaining information that supports alignment among mission statements, goals, objectives, implementation activities, and performance measures.
• Experience providing technical and administrative support for acquisition program activities, including documentation, requirements and risk reviews, analysis of alternatives, and feasibility and execution assessments.
• Experience preparing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, communication products, and resource documentation to defined timelines.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Familiarity with defense acquisition processes, including program milestones, peer reviews, and risk assessment boards.
• Experience working alongside staff with DAWIA Program Management Practitioner or PMP-level qualifications in program support roles.
• Strong skills in data visualization, narrative writing, and executive brief development to communicate acquisition metrics and findings to senior leadership.
• Experience working in dynamic, level-of-effort environments with shifting priorities and rapid turnaround requirements for acquisition documentation and communications.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field
