Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Systems Analyst to lead IT task execution across requirements, COTS/GOTS evaluation, and enterprise architecture transition planning. The role interfaces with Government stakeholders to ensure technical alignment of the IT portfolio.

Qualified candidates will have an active SECRET clearance, 8+ years in systems analysis, ITIL and CISSP certifications, and experience with AI/ML capability assessment and government briefings.

• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• 8+ years of systems analysis experience in IT integration, portfolio rationalization, and enterprise architecture.
• ITIL and CISSP certifications are required.
• Experience with requirements definition, process reengineering, COTS/GOTS evaluation, and architecture road mapping.
• Experience evaluating AI/ML capabilities and presenting findings to Government stakeholders.
• Experience benchmarking and integrating program management tools, source selection tools, and modeling tools.
• Experience supporting IT governance, security reviews, and compliance.

Job Family: Operational Effectiveness Consulting Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Active Secret

What You Will Do:

The Systems Analyst is responsible for all contractor work performed in support of IT system requirements, portfolio rationalization, and enterprise architecture/technology transition planning. This role leads technical execution across multiple IT task areas, including requirements development, COTS/GOTS evaluation, emerging technology assessment, application consolidation, and enterprise architecture analysis and road mapping. The Systems Analyst serves as the primary technical interface to the Government for these areas and ensures seamless execution and technical alignment across the IT portfolio.

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or closely related technical field.
• Minimum of EIGHT (8) years of experience in systems analysis and management of tasks related to IT integration, portfolio rationalization, and enterprise architecture.
• ITIL certification.
• CISSP (or equivalent) security certification.
• Demonstrated experience with requirements definition and refinement, process reengineering, COTS/GOTS evaluation, and alternative system design reviews.
• Experience assessing emerging IT capabilities (including AI/ML solutions), evaluating prototypes, and presenting technical findings and recommendations to Government stakeholders.
• Experience assisting with benchmarking and integration of commercial program/portfolio management tools, source selection tools, and modeling/simulation tools.
• Experience supporting business process reengineering and enterprise architecture to ensure statutory and policy compliance for defense business system modernizations.
• Experience supporting IT governance processes, security reviews, business requirements reviews, and IT audit compliance.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with large-scale enterprise systems such as Oracle-based solutions and Enterprise Business Systems, and with acquisition enterprise tools (e.g., program management or resource tools).
• Experience working in or with IT portfolio management teams and supporting system-to-service transformation strategies.
• Hands-on experience integrating or supporting AI/ML capabilities and data interoperability efforts within complex enterprise architectures.
• Strong communication and briefing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical findings to senior acquisition and business stakeholders.
