Gordon State College is seeking a Bursar to lead the Student Accounts Office, overseeing billing, payments, refunds, and sponsor billing while supporting the college's education mission. The role focuses on ensuring accurate billing, timely cash handling, and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities cover financial reconciliations, Title IV drawdowns, reporting, and collaboration with campus departments. Strong GAAP knowledge and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five years of job-related experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct all functions of the Bursar's Office, including student billing, payment processing, refund disbursement, delinquent accounts and other AR functions.
• Reconcile financials and generate analyses; liaison with Registrar, Financial Aid, and other offices.
• Serve as Data Steward for the Student Information System and ensure accuracy of billing data.
