Job summary

Augusta Technical College is seeking a Director of Student Accounts to oversee billing, reconciliations, and related processes. You will supervise staff, ensure accuracy of student and third-party charges, and coordinate with finance to maintain GAAP-compliant statements.

The role requires collaboration with various college departments and external partners to ensure timely billing, refunds, and reporting. A Bachelor’s in accounting plus several years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess effective communication and decision-making skills.
• Experience with budgeting, accounts receivable, or student accounts preferred.
• Familiarity with government or higher education financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Balance accounts receivable between systems (PeopleSoft/Banner).
• Process refunds and prepare year-end closing procedures.
• Oversee staff in the Office of Student Accounts and ensure accuracy of billing.
