CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Chief Building Engineer in the Wilmington area to lead maintenance programs and supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. You will coordinate preventive maintenance with clients, ensuring building systems operate within design specs and safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, emergency response, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime while delivering reliable facility operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Experience in supervisory roles and shift management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building operations and safety compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead operations, assign work orders, and train coworkers and subcontractors.
• Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and interruptions.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to meet design specs and client requirements.
• Oversee engineering staff to ensure complete work and proper operation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate when needed.
• Develop new methods to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Mentor others and model CBRE RISE values.
