Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Chief Building Engineer Supervisor to lead a skilled team of technicians and managers.

You will oversee facilities maintenance operations across a dynamic portfolio, drive high performance and safety, and mentor staff. This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, budget oversight, and the ability to develop preventive maintenance programs while ensuring timely, quality work that meets CBRE standards.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of supervisory or shift-management experience.
• Hands-on leader with mentoring and coaching skills.
• Experience with facility management systems and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff training and development and handle recruitment.
• Coordinate daily activities, schedule tasks, and track deadlines.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and safety manuals.
• Ensure teams have needed information and materials to complete work on time.
• Develop cost estimates for work orders and maintenance projects.
• Manage facilities maintenance budgets.
• Mentor others and model CBRE RISE values.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to meet objectives.
