Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to advanced mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Develop an energy management program to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
• Oversee and inspect work by outside contractors and respond to inquiries from clients and coworkers.
• Lead preventive maintenance to meet or exceed equipment life and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Review and sign off on inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design specs and environmental targets.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop better methods for department objectives.
• Showcase expertise and coach others to deepen knowledge across function.
