Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Dallas, TX is seeking a seasoned Building Engineer to operate, maintain and repair critical building systems. You will proactively troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety equipment, and coordinate with vendors to keep facilities running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of building systems experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with CMMS systems such as Corrigo.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze operation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Corrigo).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, plumbing, structural, lighting and control systems to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Record readings and adjust systems to prevent issues.
• Monitor maintenance work by contractors for quality and cost control.
• Maintain inventory and assist in purchasing and coordination of maintenance tasks.
