Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a Facilities Assessment Senior Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on technical leadership, client-facing project delivery, and mentorship of junior staff.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing reporting and QA across multiple projects while ensuring adherence to building science and infrastructure standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Civil/Architectural Engineering disciplines with NCARB eligibility.
• 5+ years of related experience in facilities assessment or building science.
• Licensure or certifications may be required depending on the type of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for facilities assessment projects.
• Lead client meetings and coordinate with project teams (architects, engineers, owners).
• Oversee preparation and review of reports and mentor junior staff.
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and invoicing; assist with collections.
• Direct field work with subcontractors and staff while managing multiple projects.

Education

Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.

5+ years of related experience

Licensure or certifications may be required depending on the type of work performed
