Job summary

You will design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and central plant systems for water and wastewater facilities, labs, and offices, collaborating with architects and other engineers.

The role requires a PE license or the ability to obtain one within a year, a bachelor in mechanical engineering, and at least five years' experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or able to obtain within one year.
• 5+ years of progressive building mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for buildings.
• Perform HVAC loads, duct/pipe sizing, energy analyses.
• Develop as-built drawings and specifications.
• Lead meetings with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and interface with contractors.
• Support field staff during construction.
