Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Building Maintenance Technician to support operational and preventative maintenance across commercial/industrial properties. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on building systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in property maintenance, 1+ year leadership experience, and a valid driver's license. EPA licensing or eligibility is required; a HS diploma or GED is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building construction, & plumbing.
• 5+ years of related experience in a property maintenance setting.
• 1+ years of related experience with team management/leadership.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record with periodic checks
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Current possession of EPA licensing or ability to become registered
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including machinery, air compressors, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and grounds equipment.
• HVAC repair & mechanical troubleshooting skills required.
• Lead and train a small crew (1-4 team members) and manage workflow.
• Review, create, and maintain work orders in the CMMS system.
• Interact with purchase order system and paperwork.
• Inspect and maintain building finishes and equipment; respond to emergencies as assigned.
