Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations across commercial properties. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, equipment, and grounds.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety standards and company policies are followed. The position requires hands-on experience in building operations, basic IT literacy, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, carpentry or engine repair.
• Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and related devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Repair finishes such as ceilings, hardware, walls, piping, and floors; perform painting as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests; inspect for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned; perform preventative maintenance.
• Use technology (phones, tablets, computers, BAS) for operations and reporting.
• Complete safety training and comply with dress code while on properties.
