Job summary

Firestone is seeking a Maintenance Technician for general building and mechanical maintenance tasks in our Longmont, CO facility. The role requires performing routine maintenance, basic repairs, and equipment inspections while adhering to safety protocols.

You may lead less skilled personnel and coordinate with supervisors as needed. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, preparing surfaces, and operating yard and other equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of progressively responsible maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform simple repairs and adjustments on machines and equipment.
• Schedule or arrange preventive maintenance.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and maintain clean work area.
• Operate trucks or yard equipment as needed.
• Maintain files and records.
