Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Longmont, CO to sustain a safe, comfortable living environment. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new residents.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills, with on-site work and an on-call rotation. HVAC certification and maintenance experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• HVAC certification is preferred; industry certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting and other systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance on community equipment, buildings, and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents (make-ready and turn).
• Inspect buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment for safety and maintenance needs.
• Assist with on-call rotation and emergency maintenance situations.
• Maintain curb appeal and upkeep of grounds and property amenities.
• Maintain records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
