This role involves supervising outside contractors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The position supports resident services and on-call coverage, with a strong emphasis on safety and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• General computer skills including operating a mobile device.
• Superior customer service skills including handling difficult customers.
• Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain pool, hot tub, and other community amenities.
• Supervise outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
• Schedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain inventory and assist in purchasing materials.
• Engage with residents and assist with notices.
