Job summary

UG2, a Boston-based facility services provider, seeks a Building/HVAC Technician to support state-of-the-art campus operations.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical, and BAS systems, help design discussions, and mentor teammates in a growing operations team.

Responsibilities include on-call response, coordination with owners and vendors, and adherence to safety rules while ensuring reliable building performance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related HVAC or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with large tonnage HVAC equipment and energy systems.
• Strong knowledge of building management and control systems.
• MA refrigeration license preferred; OSHA and safety training valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems and status through the building management system.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to identify problems and perform repairs.
• Perform pump rebuilds and replacements to ensure HVAC and building system operation.
• Inspect, adjust, modify, and repair boilers, heating, cooling, and auxiliary equipment.
• Provide initial response and triage for maintenance requests, focusing on HVAC.
• Carry out daily operation and maintenance of BAS, Energy Management, and Fire Safety systems.
• On-call rotation to respond to site emergencies and coordinate with owners/vendors.
