Job summary

UG2 LLC in Boston, MA is seeking a mid-level Building Engineer II to ensure safe, reliable operation of building systems. You will trouble- shoot, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to keep HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BAS/BMS running smoothly.

You will work in a team environment, respond to emergencies, and support renovations and capital-improvement projects while maintaining accurate maintenance histories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical training in building engineering or facilities maintenance.
• 3–5 years of progressive facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses or credentials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical distribution, lighting, generators, and BAS/BMS.
• Respond to facility service requests and manage work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in emergency response.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintain records.
