Job summary

Lerch Bates is seeking a Senior Building Enclosure Restoration Consultant to lead complex projects involving roofing, waterproofing, façades, glazing, and related assemblies. You will serve as a senior technical authority, coordinating investigations, developing restoration strategies, and guiding teams from discovery to construction completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in structural engineering focusing on forensics, rehabilitation, or existing buildings.
• PE license or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and rehabilitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex restoration and rehabilitation projects from investigation through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Mentor and develop consultants and technical staff.
• Prepare technical reports, repair strategies, and construction documents.
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations.
