Job summary

Lerch Bates is seeking a Senior Building Enclosure Restoration Consultant to lead complex building envelope restoration, repair, and existing building projects. You will serve as a senior technical authority for evaluating enclosure systems, identifying deficiencies, and developing restoration strategies through construction completion.

You will mentor teams, manage client relationships, and collaborate with owners, architects, and contractors while applying advanced building science to roofs,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on forensics, rehabilitation, or existing buildings.
• PE or SE license preferred and not mandatory.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead restoration and rehabilitation projects from investigation through construction completion.
• Develop restoration strategies for building envelope systems including roofing, waterproofing, and facades.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure code compliance and project objectives.
• Mentor consultants and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support business development.
