Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY to oversee investigations, analyses, and the performance of building envelopes and related site conditions. You will manage staff and contractors, review technical reports, and ensure compliance with client specifications and city requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 8–10 years in envelope design/assessment, and a Registered Design Professional (PE or RA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 8–10 years of Building Envelope assessment and/or design experience.
• Registered Design Professional (PE or RA).
• Knowledge of building codes; ability to delegate tasks.
• Based in Manhattan, NY with ability to travel and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and administrative aspects of façade/roofing service opportunities from proposal to final client acceptance.
• Review designs and calculations for accuracy; provide technical guidance.
• Lead testing and evaluations of building envelope and structural framing.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and staffing; ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with clients and staff; prepare reports and presentations.
