Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Project Manager within the Structures Team, focusing on building envelope. You will oversee technical and administrative aspects of façade/roofing projects from proposal through final client acceptance, including budgeting and schedules.

The role requires a NY-licensed PE and 6+ years in building envelope assessment/design, with strong leadership and client-facing communication. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York.
• 6+ years of building envelope assessment/design experience.
• Experience managing projects and staff.
• Knowledge of building codes, egress, and waterproofing.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and administrative aspects of façade/roofing projects from proposal to client acceptance.
• Review designs, calculations, and city approvals for active projects.
• Lead site investigations and supervise contractors to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare schedules, budgets, and change orders for projects.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members and mentor new staff.
• Support business development through cross-functional collaboration.
