Job summary

Stratus, a national engineering firm, is seeking a Project Manager in the Structures Team focused on building envelope. The role oversees façade/roof investigations, analysis, and project coordination, ensuring high-quality deliverables across field and office work.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in building envelope assessment/design, NY PE licensure, and strong staff management skills to mentor team members and manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York.
• 6+ years of Building Envelope assessment and/or design experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and administrative aspects of façade/roofing service opportunities from proposal to client acceptance, including invoicing.
• Review design/analysis specifications and calculations for accuracy on active projects.
• Review remediation and design work plans, bidding documents, costs, and submissions for city/state/federal approvals.
• Assess site investigation information and existing condition data to determine deficiencies.
• Supervise contractors and staff to ensure contract compliance and prepare summary documentation.
