Job summary

Stratus, a multidisciplinary engineering and design firm, seeks a Sr. Project Manager to oversee building envelope performance, façade/roof investigations, and site conditions analyses in Manhattan. You will review staff work, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects on time and within scope.

The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, PE/RA registration, and NYC QEWI/QRWI designations, with a hybrid work model and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 8-10 years of experience in Building Envelope assessment and/or design
• Registered Design Professional (PE or RA)
• NYC QEWI designation
• NYC QRWI designation

Responsibilities

• Manage façades/roofing service opportunities from proposal to final acceptance.
• Invoicing and accounts receivable.
• Review design/analysis specifications and calculations for projects.
• Design schematic layouts of structural framing using applied software.
• Review assessment information gathered during site investigations.
• Supervise contractors and staff to ensure contract compliance.
• QA/QC review of all project deliverables prior to submission.
• Ensure registrations are maintained via continuing education.
• Manage project budgets and invoicing.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Regional Director.
