Job summary

The Falcon Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the DC Metro area to lead low-rise envelope projects, including roofing and cladding, while supervising field staff and coordinating with the design team.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in multi-family/low-rise construction, strong reporting skills, and familiarity with IBC/IRC/IEBC, NRCA, ARMA, SMACNA standards. Some travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with multi-family/low-rise building envelope evaluations and construction oversight.
• Strong experience with low-rise construction, including shingles, balconies, siding/cladding, and flashing systems.
• Ability to write clear technical reports and present findings to boards, managers, and clients.
• Understanding of IBC, IRC, IEBC, and related codes for VA, MD, and DC.
• Familiarity with NRCA, ARMA, SMACNA and other low-rise standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans/specifications to help manage field staff.
• Conduct construction observation visits and monitor compliance with design documents.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications.
• Support field staff with guidance on construction questions and details.
• Provide a centralized point of contact for field staff and disseminate information to supervisors.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, or text to provide project updates.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, and final quality verification.
