Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Senior Leader to guide our building science and envelope specialists in the US Northeast. You will direct technical leadership, client engagement, and project delivery for complex building envelope projects across rehabilitation and new construction.

You will oversee scope definition, design criteria, and field execution, reviewing documentation and coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Science with a Building Science background.
• Strong understanding of flashing, waterproofing, roofing, cladding, rain screens and air barriers.
• Project management skills for multiple concurrent projects with budgets over $200,000.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams of 1–5 staff, driving results on time and on budget.
• Provide technical leadership in building envelope design and related services.
• Review designs, shop drawings and submittals for compliance with building science criteria.
• Lead business development opportunities and write proposals for new work.
