Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Olathe, KS seeks a Chief Building Engineer Supervisor to lead maintenance and repair operations for a large aerospace manufacturing facility.

You will supervise staff, oversee daily activities, and ensure safe, reliable operation of building systems in a highly regulated environment. You will develop preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and mentor technical teams while coordinating cross-disciplinary work with engineering and facilities staff.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or shift management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance and repair operations.
• Strong organizational and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff delivering maintenance and repair for a 580,000 sq ft facility.
• Coordinate daily activities, schedules, and cross-training.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Ensure timely, high-quality completion of work orders and projects.
• Estimate material and labor costs and manage departmental budgets.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate corrective actions.
