Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Union Chief Engineer to lead engineering operations across multiple properties. The role requires directing staff, maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, and ensuring compliance with codes and company policies.

You will manage budgets, develop preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with tenants and external vendors, and support the Property or Facility Manager on capital projects, emergency response, and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 7+ years of related experience in commercial property operations.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff including hiring and training.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Manage operating budgets and variance reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and tenants.
