Job summary

KW PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTING seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee building maintenance, interior and exterior, ensuring HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems operate reliably.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, safety compliance, and the ability to coordinate with the Association Manager and maintenance team to keep the community well-maintained and visually appealing, while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification or equivalent technical schooling.
• 3–5 years supervisory maintenance in hi-rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting basics.
• Proficient in Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day routine maintenance with staff in a leadership role.
• Develops and updates preventative maintenance program.
• Supervise building repairs by outside vendors and report outcomes.
• Maintain an safe, efficient operating environment and coordinate with management.
• Prepare maintenance reports with property condition updates and recommendations.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure timely site access.
