Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America in California is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control and HVAC systems, and to drive preventive and reactive maintenance in a safe, compliant environment.

The role requires 5+ years in Operations & Maintenance or Building Engineering, a High School diploma or trade school, EPA 608 certification, and strong communication. This full-time post offers competitive hourly pay and supports the OneISS team approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Facilities Maintenance and/or Building Engineering roles.
• High school diploma or vocational or trade school/college required.
• EPA Universal/608 Certification.
• Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and CMMS systems.
• Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management.
• Experience with managing key performance indicators as provided by Site Operations Manager.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of the building’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control and HVAC systems.
• Perform refrigerant handling associated with repairs to HVAC systems.
• Perform minor electrical tasks and troubleshooting.
