Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America in West Hollywood, CA is seeking an Engineer I to perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure building systems stay safe, clean, and operational.

The position requires basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus the ability to read manuals and blueprints. You will work under supervision and document work orders in the CMMS while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot basic building equipment and system issues.
• Update work orders in the CMMS and maintain records.
• Assist higher-level engineers with repairs and projects.
• Maintain clean mechanical rooms and workspaces.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed.
