Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Hanover, MD is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to lead building enclosure investigations, testing, and design consulting. You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple facilities with daily client interaction.

The role requires 5+ years in building enclosure consulting, a relevant degree, and professional licensure or certifications where possible; a valid driver's license is required for field

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building enclosure consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), or IIBEC certifications preferred.
• Willingness to mentor junior staff.
• Valid driver’s license required if driving.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx).
• Manage building science & infrastructure projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Prepare and review proposals, change orders, budgets, and invoices.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel performing inspections and testing.
• Coordinate staffing needs with other managers to support project execution.
