WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead electrical design for diverse building projects. You will drive design development, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality across planning, design, and construction administration stages.

You will coordinate with architects, structural, and mechanical engineers, manage calculations, create specifications, and contribute to client meetings and BD efforts. Strong NEC/IBC knowledge required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience designing electrical systems for buildings in a consulting environment.
• EIT certification.
• Experience designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for building projects.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and IBC and related standards.
• Ability to coordinate building systems with multidisciplinary teams and lead design efforts.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire alarm systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and guide project delivery.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Conduct load calculations, short-circuit analyses, and coordination studies.
• Lead project design using Revit, AutoCAD, and other software.
• Coordinate with architects, structural/mechanical engineers, owners, and contractors.
