St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to monitor and maintain building automation systems, including Metasys BAS, and to ensure critical infrastructure stays operational.

You will lead troubleshooting, coordinate with contractors, manage work orders, and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety and environmental compliance. A strong background in facilities maintenance and BAS, plus CMMS experience, is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in HVAC, electronic technology, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or customer service.
• Experience with building automation systems (e.g., Metasys) and BAS controls.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor daily operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical).
• Conduct facility inspections and risk assessments to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs to keep critical infrastructure running.
• Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Assign tasks and manage work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Provide support during emergencies affecting BAS; suspend risky activities.
• Recommend energy-efficient operation and reliability improvements.
• Review designs and manage BAS modification projects.
• Develop expertise under lead technician and supervisor.
• Mentor junior technicians on appropriate tasks.
• Maintain attendance and perform other department duties.
