St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis seeks a Sr Controls Engineer to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, electrical, and other critical infrastructure to keep operations running smoothly.

You will respond to alarms, coordinate with maintenance teams, supervise junior technicians, review designs for BAS modifications, and help improve energy efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, electronic technology, pneumatic controls, information technology, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with facilities management, technical maintenance or customer service.
• Experience with BAS (e.g., Metasys) and building systems.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor daily operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical).
• Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and coordinate repairs for complex equipment failures.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs and upgrades.
• Assign maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Provide support to resolve problems, emergencies and other matters affecting BAS.
