Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering; 5–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of building management and control systems.
• Ability to analyze solutions and apply appropriate judgment.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications and design documents.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays per project specs or sales proposal.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Document problem resolution and report findings to the project team.
• Coordinate system installation with installing contractors on site.
