Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to lead master systems integration of building management systems (BMS), develop control databases, and create user interfaces in alignment with project specs and proposals.

You will provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers, perform field start-up and commissioning, and help deliver projects for large enterprise clients using industry-leading technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or combination of experience and education.
• Strong problem-solving with technical judgment and precedents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and related tools.
• Experience with building management systems and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams and panel layouts.
• Program control applications with various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning and testing.
• Confirm operation per project specs and designs.
• Develop system graphics displays per specifications or proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Conduct advanced system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
• Document resolutions and report findings to the project team.
