Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Service Specialist at our Fremont, CA location to support building automation systems. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and on-call service while coordinating with internal teams to ensure reliable, energy-efficient operations.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years in building automation, strong knowledge of BACnet/Modbus/TCPIP, and a willingness to work overtime. Valid driver’s license and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics of building automation systems.
• Open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP Ethernet and networking.
• Must be able to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
• Maintain documentation of services performed and generate reports in Siemens tools.
• Provide customer training on system operations and assist with upgrades.
• Support after-hours on-call and respond to service calls (emergency and on-site).
• Identify system discrepancies and report upgrade opportunities.
