Siemens in the Boston area is seeking a Service Specialist to support building automation systems, perform maintenance, and address on-call service needs. You will interact with customers, follow safety standards, and maintain accurate service records.

The role requires hands-on work on various sites, strong documentation, and collaboration with internal service teams to ensure uptime and efficiency in building operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics of building automation systems.
• Open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP Ethernet and networking.
• Ability to work in varied environments including ladders, ducts, and crawl spaces.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Respond to service calls (emergency and on-site) as assigned.
• Complete service ticket documentation and maintain maintenance schedules.
• Provide customer training on system operations and report discrepancies.
• Identify upgrade opportunities and assist in pricing repairs.
• Work overtime and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
