Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Account Manager to drive sales of the EMCOR automation solution for commercial clients, including retrofit projects and maintenance agreements.

You will cultivate relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners to expand controls opportunities. This role requires a 5+ year background in Direct Digital Controls and building automation, a relevant degree, and strong presentation and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a technical discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Direct Digital Controls of HVAC or building automation.
• Technical experience in HVAC, lighting controls, and application engineering.
• Automation experience with Distech, Alerton, JCI Metasys, or Delta Controls preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and sales aptitude.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel; ability to develop technical and cost proposals.

Responsibilities

• Developing controls for sales presentations, prospecting for new accounts, and providing clients with product services/information.
• Maintaining client pricing and payments, A/R management, client correspondence, P/L reports QA support, and networking events.
• Development and maintenance of relationships with prospective and legacy clients; contact prospective clients and engineers to build future opportunities.
• Collaborate with branch manager, project managers, and engineering teams to improve commercial account programs.
• Manage analysis-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability of assigned accounts.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations and write proposals with pricing models.
