Job summary

Harris is seeking a Building Automation Project Manager in Salt Lake City to oversee BA projects from bid to completion, ensuring design, budget and schedule compliance. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, interpret plans, manage changes, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 5+ years of PM experience, with a strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• 5+ years of prior project management experience.
• 5+ years of basic understanding of business administration and management principles.
• 5+ years of basic understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
• 5+ years of basic understanding of building and construction materials, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead BA projects from bid to completion, ensuring design, budget and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate permits, licenses, and interface with owners and subcontractors.
• Monitor milestones, submit status reports, and manage changes.
• Ensure safety procedures and OSHA compliance on site.
• Oversee closeout including O&M manuals and owner training.
