Job summary

Harris is seeking a Building Automation Project Manager to supervise BA projects from bid to completion, ensuring design, budget, and schedule adherence. You will lead teams, drive change, and maintain safety standards across diverse sites, while coordinating with owners, contractors, and design professionals.

The role requires strong problem solving, independence, and a commitment to project safety, quality, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• 5+ years of prior project management experience.
• 5+ years of basic understanding of business administration and management principles.
• 5+ years of basic understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
• 5+ years of basic understanding of building and construction materials, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to owners, developers, or staff.
• Track the progress and quality of work.
• Manage and lead team to project completion, including post mortems and statuses.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
• Provide technical assistance and interpretation of drawings when required.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
