Job summary

Harris is seeking a Lead Building Automation Installer to plan layout and install electrical wiring and equipment, connect wires, and test systems to ensure a safe and operational building automation solution in Salt Lake City.

You will supervise field labor, coordinate with design teams, prepare as-built documentation, manage material orders, and participate in startup procedures while maintaining safety and compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient knowledge of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Connect wires to electrical components for a complete system.
• Test electrical systems for safety and compatibility using testing devices.
• Assemble, install, test, or maintain wiring/equipment with hand or power tools.
• Lead field labor and coordinate installation resources.
• Prepare as-built documents and submit labor/expense reports.
