Vantage Consulting is seeking a Senior Building Automation & Controls Engineer to support smart building deployments across the New York metropolitan area. The role combines HVAC controls engineering, project delivery, system integration and energy optimisation, interfacing with commercial, operational and technical teams.

You will conduct site surveys, develop scopes, oversee installations and ensure full commissioning while driving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, HVAC or building services.
• 5–8 years in building automation and controls engineering.
• Experience in HVAC automation, control systems, and integration.
• Willingness to travel regularly in New York City.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site surveys to establish project requirements and energy savings.
• Develop project scopes and identify suitable solutions for customers.
• Manage delivery from planning through commissioning within timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders to keep installations on track.
• Oversee cloud-based building management integration with HVAC controls.
• Lead commissioning, validation and handover to customers.
• Produce engineering drawings, documentation and commissioning reports.
• Provide regional technical support and system optimisation.
